Entrance

Opened by famous local actors and actresses, Auntie Sweet will never disappoint you with her great selection of local desserts! Though the choices are priced higher than average, it is not stopping those hungry folks with a dessert stomach from going. This sweet place gets really crowded after dinner time but the wait might help you digest a bit for ultimate sweet pleasure!

There are way too many must-try but two of the signatures go to the Mango Orchestra ($50) & Durian Bean Curd Jelly ($52). The Mango Orchestra is a taste of heaven in a bowl, blending 4 favorite mango-flavored sweets together – dried mangoes, mango pudding, fresh mango cubes & mango ice cream. The layers of textures offered are balancing each other out – chewiness, smoothness, and jiggliness all in one, which mango mania can surely lose themselves in the yellow goodness. But the sweetness could be quite overwhelming to those who do not have a sweet tooth.

The Durian Bean Curd Jelly is another heaven for tropical fruit lovers. The local delicacy Bean Curd Jelly is also famous at the place for its rich bean flavors, silky smoothness and creaminess so why not mixing it with Durian that also possesses similar textures? The localized dessert turns out to be surprisingly good which the bean flavors do match with the sweet musky fruit. It is just too easy to finish a bowl as each spoon of it just slides easily down your throat. Some of you who haven’t tasted the King of Fruits might say its odor is too much to handle, but well, isn’t it always love at first bite?
