A Hong Konger loves his city.

Ever sine I took geography in my uni, I have been interested in different landscape, culture and interactions between cities and its people. I have always dreamed of being a backpacker, traveling around the world and see the wonders and stories with my own eyes. But as a 100% indoor person and introvert, I just watch YouTube travel videos and consider it a “trip”,  never stepping our of my comfort zone to understand the world.

Fortunately, I worked with a local cultural enterprise as an intern, and suddenly realized that I had nearly no understanding of the city I’m living in. Even the neighborhood I lived for nearly 20 years, but I can’t tell a bit about it’s history. That’s why I decided to know more about Hong Kong, explore and discover our local culture, and bring more people into this beautifil metropolis.

Hong Kong’s culture is full of charm, and there are countless stories in this small city. From every neighborhood, every industry, and every person in Hong Kong, you will get a unique story of Hong Kong. Before going abroad to see their culture, why not get out of the house and take a closer look at the culture around you, and record the values and customs of Hong Kong with your own eyes?
