Located in an rather relaxing area of the busy TST district, the bar offers a cozy Kowloon atmosphere for beer lovers to enjoy a fresh brew with like minded people. This craft beer bar has 20 on tap craft beers from all around the world, which form an excellent and wide-ranging selection of top notch brews in various categories from stouts to IPAs or weissbiers.
Similar to a sophisticatedly curated exhibition, Tipsy Tap really cultivates a culture as a taproom guesting the best tasting beers, not just the most popular, and with a nice mix of local and imported beers. If you are a causal beer drinker, worry not since the very beer-knowledgeable, nice staff can always help you pick a good one. But as with anywhere in HK, be prepared for some steep prices for the imported.
Arguably the best/ most popular craft beer bar, Tipsy Tap is without a doubt the stomping ground for beer enthusiasts. The place would also host events collaborating with different local brewers. Expect to meet and hang out with other beer enthusiasts as you enjoy freshly poured brews over finger food. The Citrus IPA, for example, is refreshing and delicious. The finger food is also good though it is not what most people come for.
You can now enjoy a fresh pour anywhere as they are currently offering draft beer for takeaway. To keep the freshness of the beer, their beers are sealed in airtight bottles to minimise oxidation.
Yeah it’s expensive but for the good drinks, good mood, good decor and good service, it’s definitely worth it.
