Want a fancy date night with great drinks and addictive American comfort food? Please Don’t tell is the place to go.

Staying true to its root, this Hong Kong outpost keeps the iconic glam identical with the original speakeasy in New York City- The much-talked-about phone booth at the entrance; the brick walls decorated with quirky taxidermy; and the vaulted ceiling bedecked with glossy wooden panels in a herringbone pattern. Within a hotel bar, this classic cocktail bar is a chic and intimate hidden gem for you to escape from the bustle.

The menu is a mix of PDT classics and originals designed for Hong Kong. A must-try is the Big Fan, a nod to the Mandarin Oriental’s iconic logo made with Avión Blanco tequila, fresh lime, pink peppercorn syrup, guava puree, and locally brewed Moonzen Fujian radler, decorated with a fan-shaped pomelo slice.

The bar also won popularity for its addictive American food with an Asian twist, designed by two Michelin-starred chef Richard Ekkebus. His signature fusion hot dogs with a side of the Takoyaki Tots topped with Kewpie mayo, Tayoaki sauce, shredded nori bonito and scallions are exceptionally delicious.

The price point is at the higher end of the scale though. Quite a small bar that can accommodate around 25 guests, so please make a reservation.
