If you only got one night to visit, go to Avenue of Star. Regarded to be the best attraction of Hong Kong, the promenade has the best angle to watch the light show throughout the city.

What “stars” are they?
Not stars upon the sky, but the superstars of Hong Kong. The 440-metre walkway was built to pay tribute to the artists who devoted their lives to developing the film industry. There’re statues erected, like Bruce Lee, the iconic Kung Fu master, and more interestingly, McDull, the famous cartoon pig that was created by local animators. You can also take a glance at those handprints made by the celebrities who got credits in showbiz.

To enjoy the symphony of light
Starting at 8 pm every night, there is a performance named “A Symphony of Light” in the harbour. Thousands of buildings across the sea will be shining up the skyline, wielding beams of lights towards the stage of the night sky, with the merge of western and oriental music floating above the bustling metropolis.

Needless to say, it’s totally free of charge. Just take a good seat on the seafront before the 15-minute extravaganza begins. With an eye to getting closer, spend some money and bounce onto the harbour cruise that provides a lounge bed with wine.

What else to do?
The promenade offers the westward seaview, where you can enjoy the stunning sunset. In the proximity, there’re plenty of sites worth a visit, such as the Clock Tower, Space Museum, Art Gallery, Star Ferry and so. Have a click on our website (Link) to check them out!
