This is Hannah, a local girl from Hong Kong and have spent one year in Japan for a student exchange program. Since then, I started to have opportunities to meet friends from different parts of the world. I was overwhelmed at the beginning facing all the cultural differences, but then I found that that’s actually the most interesting thing to know one other’s culture while introducing yours. Exchanging ideas is always inspiring.
Pandemic has hit us hard since 2019, yet I tried to take it in a positive way and I am grateful that I could have more time to explore my community and the place that I was born thanks to my company’s work from home policy. Hong Kong has its own unique characteristics that might only known by the local. Now I feel more connected with this lovely place and would like to let more people know better about Hong Kong, not only those major attractions. Who knows? Maybe my small actions could lead to big changes.
